Fairfax County public safety agencies are teaming up with The Arc of Northern Virginia and the Northern Virginia Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a special event—Fairfax County Unified Response Day: Bridging First Responders and All Abilities.
This one-of-a-kind, interactive event is all about building safety, confidence, and preparedness for individuals with disabilities and those with access and functional needs.
It’s a great chance for individuals and their families to connect with first responders in a relaxed, supportive environment. Participants will walk through real-life scenarios—like traffic stops, car accidents, medical emergencies, and fire rescues—giving everyone the opportunity to learn from each other and grow stronger together.
